If you’re looking for a fun day out in Seoul that combines nature, animals, and rides then Seoul Land and Seoul Zoo should definitely be on your list. Located in Gwacheon, just outside of Seoul, these two attractions make for the perfect getaway. Here’s everything you need to know before you go!
Seoul Zoo is the largest Zoo in Korea - Located within Seoul Grand Park, Seoul Zoo is home to over 3,700 animals from around the world. It’s one of the biggest and oldest zoos in Korea, making it a great place for animal lovers and families.
How to get there: Seoul Land and Seoul Zoo are both located inside Seoul Grand Park in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province. Getting there is easy:
Subway: Take Line 4 (Blue Line) to Seoul Grand Park Station (Exit 2). From there, you can either walk or take the park shuttle. Bus: Various local buses stop at Seoul Grand Park. Car: Parking is available, but it can get crowded on weekends and holidays.
Animals & Exhibits to See
African Safari – Lions, zebras, and giraffes roam in large enclosures that mimic their natural habitats.
Elephant House – One of the most popular sections where you can watch elephants up close.
Primate World – Home to various species of monkeys, chimpanzees, and gorillas.
Marine World – Features sea lions, penguins, and other aquatic animals.
