If you're planning to be in Korea around spring, you have to catch the cherry blossoms — they're honestly one of the prettiest things you'll see. The season is short but super magical. Usually, the blossoms start out in late March to early April, depending on the weather that year. They only last about a week or so, especially if it rains or gets windy.

You don’t need to travel far to see them either — Seoul has a bunch of great spots. Each year, the peak blossom spots change a little, so I’d recommend checking on Naver (네이버) or searching for 벚꽃 명소 202x to see where they’re blooming best that year. Tons of people post photos and updates, so it's easy to find the hot spots.

My tip: Go early in the morning or on a weekday if you can. The popular places get really crowded on weekends, and it's nicer to enjoy the flowers when it’s quiet and peaceful.

It’s honestly one of those small, beautiful things that makes spring in Korea feel special.
